REPORT SAYS NEW YORK TIMES JOURNALIST KIDNAPPED – The German Press Agency dpa is reporting that an unidentified New York Times journalist visiting the site of the deadly NATO airstrike has been kidnapped along with his interpreter. ***UPDATE: Bill Roggio of The Long War Journal blog is reporting that the kidnapped reporter is Stephen Farrell. NYT Reports – Emilio Morenatti and Andi Jatmiko have been evacuated to a medical center in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, The Associated Press reported. Two soldiers from the Fifth Stryker Brigade of Fort Lewis, Wash., were also injured when their vehicle ran over a bomb planted in the open desert terrain, not far from the town of Spin Boldak.
